To submit a paper please login using your Single Sign On(SSO/Blackboard) Username and Password. An online assistant will respond to you within 72 hours.
Through the OWL, online tutors are available to:
- Help you with a paper’s organization
- Offer suggestions for clarifying ideas and improving transitions
- Give a “second set of eyes” to see if your writing makes sense
- Offer suggestions for making your work more concise
- Assist you with grammatical problems (although we will not line-edit your paper)
- Provide general responses and feedback to your work
We can assist students in all disciplines, with all types of writing.
The OWL is not a proofreading or editing service, so our online assistants will not “fix” your papers. Rather, our assistants are available to offer feedback on your writing and help you to figure out how to proceed with a piece of writing, reach your writing goals, and better understand academic writing conventions. OWL assistants can also work with you if you would like help with grammar, usage, citation style, or other writing conventions.
Submissions may be no longer than 25 pages in length. Works longer than 25 pages should be submitted in sections. An online assistant will respond to your writing within 72 hours, so please submit your work at least three days before your deadline in order to receive a timely response.
